The bedroom area in the mezzanine has been divided to create an additional dressing.
The original entrance was demolished to add the volume of the balcony and the stair case into the flat, moving the new entrance to the floor below.
The original wood beams have been revealed and restored.
New spaces and volumes have been created by demolishing the existing built-in cabinets and digging out parts of hollow walls.
The living area features dark strong bamboo hardwood floor, custom cabinets, closets and shelves, custom dark oak kitchen and bar counter tops.
The bathroom features big white tiled floor, white iridescent mosaic work inside shower and on vanity area, custom glass shower-box, opaque glass entrance door and wall mirror.

PARIS XVI, Passy
Stunning apartment facing the Eiffel Tower in the chic Passy area.
The project consisted in a complete remodeling of a classic Haussmanian style flat and turning it into a more open, chic space in which the antique features blend together with modern, sharp details.
The open entrance-kitchen-dining-living area has been created by demolishing the walls that were defining the original "en enfilade" rooms.
The original kitchen has been turned into the main bathroom; the original shared bathroom between the bedrooms has been turned into a walk in closet + laundry; the original half bathroom has been conserved and enlarged.
One of the original antique fireplaces has been removed to create the custom high-tech gourmet kitchen.
All the other fireplaces and above mirrors have been conserved and restored.
The original herringbone hardwood floor has been conserved and restored, as well as all the ceilings and the wall moldings.
All the existing doors, begin ruined, have been replaced by new ones with the same design of the originals.
The original gas-heating system has been removed and replaced by an electric-heating system. All the new radiant elements are high efficient and high-tech designed to be a distinctive part of the interior decoration.
All the new lights have a very modern, technological design and are orientable and dimmable.
The main bathroom and the half bathroom feature italian brown stucco on walls and ceiling and travertino floors, walls and mosaic work inside the shower.

PARIS II, Montorgueil
This cosy 2 bedrooms little flat is situated in the active trendy area of Montorgueil.
The project consisted in revealing the original beauty of the ancient design and match it with modern minimalist details.
The original spaces and volumes have been cleaned and lightly modified: entrance and living room remain the same, the original one big bedroom has been divided to create a master bedroom and a guest bedroom, the volumes of the existing half-bathroom and bathroom have been modified to better use the space.
The original tiled floor old parisian-style in the kitchen area has been conserved and restored, such as the hardwood floor, all the wall and ceiling moldings and the original doors.
The existing fireplace and mirror were ruined and had no artistic value so they have been replaced by an antique Carrara marble fireplace with above antique gold framed mirror.
The new lighting system consists in modern and minimalist wall sconces and projectors.
The radiant elements are all custom: rectangular flat metallic boxes for studio and entrance, vintage industrial style for living and master bedroom.
The designer's custom kitchen is minimalist and high-tech with black thin granite counter top and bar.
Half-bathroom and shower bathroom feature minimalist design with concrete-style tiles, custom metallic heaters and high-tech lights.

PARIS I, Fb. St. Honoré-Le Louvre
This beautiful full-optional flat is situated in the fashion, classy area of St. Honore-Le Louvre. History tells that in this old building lived M. Guillottin, the inventor of the french guillotine!
The project consisted in revealing and conserving the ancient elements together with redistribute and recreate new functional spaces such as kitchen and bathroom.
The living room is the only area that remains with the same volume, it has been completely conserved and updated. Under the existing floor the original hardwood floor has been revealed and restored, such as the original fireplace and the above mirror, the ceiling moldings, the arch and the 2 big windows. A new custom red wood library and cabinet have been added on the sides of the fireplace.
A rich exotic red hardwood which contrasts and blends with the ancient restored parquet in the living room has been chosen for the rest of the flooring surface.
The original kitchen and bathroom were completely demolished.
A new open kitchen has been created next to the entrance at the beginning of the corridor; it features hidden high-efficiency appliances, green slate top and glass bar-top.
In front of the kitchen takes place a new custom system of cabinetry with built-in wine cellar.
At the end of the corridor is the open bedroom which features a custom system of cabinetry, desk and mirrors plus a little gym area.
The dark bathroom which contrasts with the brightness of the flat is situated behind a sliding door on the corridor. It is conceived like a mini-spa and it features a power shower with chromotherapy.
All the custom metal radiant elements are high-tech with minimalist aesthetic.
All the lights are dimmable.
The flat is equipped with a sophisticated sound system which features a home cinema in the living room, speakers and controls in every space including the bathroom.

PARIS XI, Voltaire
This flat is situated in the Voltaire area, inside an ancient artistic woodwork factory reconverted in residential building.
The distribution of the flat has been completely reviewed and radically changed from the original design which consisted essentially in a long weird zig-zag corridor connecting all the ambients.
The original entrance and bedroom have been destroyed and turned into a big open living- dining area.
At the end of the corridor was a big room with a weird chimney in the middle, probably a more ancient fireplace. This space has been divided to create the master bedroom and a guest bedroom; the unused chimney has been removed to create the access to the new rooms. Demolishing the chimney revealed a stone wall that has been restored and exposed; in memory of the ancient fireplace a glass light element has been created.
The original kitchen has been partially demolished to create a modern open one; the new custom kitchen features giant bronze concrete tiles flooring, custom cabinetry and high-efficiency appliances.
The bathroom has been expanded and a new access to it has been created. Precious thick grey stones were used for the floor and inside the shower. Custom glassworks and mirrors, high-tech faucets and suspended sanitary complete this space.
The original hardwood floor has been conserved and restored, such as the fireplace in the new living room and in the master bedroom.
The original furnace, radiant elements, electrical and lighting system have been replaced .
A big grey glass custom sliding door was added to separate the living area from the other areas.

PARIS IX, St. George
This cosy little studio is located in the dynamic St. George area.
It is situated in a very ancient building and it was originally the entrance hall to a larger residence that throughout the centuries was divided into smaller units. This space had been uninhabited for several years and did not have a toilet/bathroom. Before works it was in terrible and dangerous conditions having suffered many water leaks and having old unsafe electrical.
The project focused on updating all the services and create a complete functional studio with sleeping for 3 persons.
All the original ancient elements have been revealed, conserved and restored: the herringbone hardwood floor, the fireplace and the above mirror, the ceiling moldings, the entrance door and the 2 windows.
The bathroom block was conceived in a way to be completely closed yet leaving visible the continuity of the ceiling moldings by topping the upper part of the walls with a custom glass element. The bathroom is provided with sink, toilet, shower, hidden washing-machine and storage.
The open kitchenette is provided with induction stove, microwave, integrated refrigerator, sink, several storage units and custom oakwood bar top.
To supply the 3 bedroom places the studio is equipped with a convertible sofa that sleeps 2 persons plus an alcove with a day seat/single bed with below drawer for storage.

PARIS V, Pantheon
This cosy little flat is situated in the very parisian Pantheon-Mouffetard area.
The focus of this complete restoration was to create a parisian chic, feminine space.
The ancient bathroom had access both through the kitchenette and the bedroom. The new bathroom has access only from the bedroom and it features italian Bisazza mosaic tile work, custom shower and sink area; it is decorated with antique mirror and chandelier sconces.
The new kitchenette is open on the living area and it is minimalist and functional.
All the flooring surfaces are covered by a new vintage-style beige oakwood.
In place of an ancient cabinet, a discrete niche with floral english wallpaper has been created in the living room.
The original wood beams, windows and the stone wall in the bedroom have been conserved and restored.

PARIS I, Etienne Marcel
This wonderful apartment is located in the central and trendy Etienne Marcel area.
The flat in its original conditions presented a big potential but it was very ruined and poor; the project made a dramatic change to bring it to splendour with some added features.
The original plan featured a big entrance giving access to the big living room through a small arch in the main wall. The living was in poor conditions, with a low fake ceiling, radiant elements in place of the original fireplaces, cheap built-in cabinets and a low dividing wall in the middle of the space.
From the entrance through a corridor was the access to the bathroom and a dark kitchen.
The guest bedroom with access from the entrance presented a strange niche/dressing area; on the other side of it is the master bedroom, originally with just a cheap built-in closet.
To give a more elegant, harmonic, grand access to the living room a new bigger arch in axe with the entrance door has been created through the main wall.
The original big entrance has been reduced to create new functional spaces: a new guest bathroom and an elegant corridor that hides in the flush built-in closet laundry and services and gives access to the kitchen.
The kitchen is functional and minimalist with custom cabinetry, oakwood top and metal backsplash; it is connected to the dining area in the living through a second arch in the main wall.
The original volume of the dressing in the guest room has been turned into a bathroom for the master bedroom with hidden access through the custom built-in closet in the master bedroom. The master bathroom features travertine big tiles on floor and walls and travertine mosaic in the shower; the shower is equipped with a waterfall for relaxation.
The guest bathroom features precious tiles on floor and walls and brick-like mosaic tiles in the shower. Both bathrooms are equipped with high quality and design sanitary, faucets and metal custom heaters.
All the fake ceilings have been demolished to bring the volumes to their original height, the original herringbone oakwood floor has been conserved and restored.
To bring the living room to its original splendour 2 antique Carrara marble fireplaces have been positioned on both sides of the living room.

PARIS I, Rivoli
This little one bedroom flat is located in the very central Les Halles-Rivoli area.
The original flat consisted of just a living area equipped with a sofa-bed, a separate kitchen and bathroom. The goal of the project was to create a bedroom reorganizing the space and design a cosy, comfortable ambient with place for everything.
To do so the original block of kitchen and bathroom has been demolished to create a bedroom provided with a roomy wall closet and a new luxurious bathroom.
The kitchen has been moved in the open living area along one of the walls to leave a spacious living space with room for entertainment, dining and additional sleeping (sofa-bed)
The kitchen is minimalist and fully equipped with built-in appliances (refrigerator, washing-drying machine, induction stove, dish-washer) it features metal backsplash and white laminate + metal counter top as the custom dinner-bar.
The new bathroom is covered with delicate pink tiles on walls + vanity area and grey ones on the floor; the alcove shower features a rich pink-grey mosaic with golden glass inserts.
The original floor has been replaced by a warm oak flooring, the original wood beams have been conserved and restored with the addiction of technical spotlights to accentuate the space.
Custom cabinets and library have been designed to add extra storage and charm.

PARIS I, Tiquetonne
This cosy little studio is located in the new trendy Tiquetonne pedestrian area.
The project consisted of a complete renovation with an economic budget to create a delicate and comfortable space able to sleep up to 3 people.
The surface consists of a room with enclosed kitchen and full bathroom. The original volumes has been modified to better fit the kitchen and the bathroom.
In the living area the singular fireplace has been restored and been integrated with the custom cabinetry and shelves that provides good storage for the residents.
The sleeping places have been supplied with a convertible sofa-bed that sleeps 2 + a convertible armchair that sleeps 1.
To leave a comfortable living area the dining corner has been conceived as a custom wood bar top with stools along one of the walls.
The little yet fully equipped kitchen features white cabinetry, integrated appliances, light wood top and metal backsplash.
The comfortable bathroom features a white vanity with big sink, big alcove shower covered with grey ceramic tiles, and toilet.
A light delicate palette was chosen to enlarge and lighten the small surface: a light wood floor replaced the existing carpet and the exposed beams have been painted white.
